Israel and Kenya diplomatic relation began way back before the 1900s, well at least by the records the time about the expiry of the British Mandate on Palestine. Fast forward to 1963 when the foundation stone of the Israeli Embassy in Nairobi was laid on 9th December 1963. At the exact time when Kenya was having her independence, beautiful coincidence and alignment, this officially saw a friendship that started long before formalised and with great strides in Agriculture, Security, Water Technology, Health, Alternative energy partnerships and developments that have revolutionized the socio-economic framework of Kenya.
This is a detailed account of the Israeli - Kenya relationship before and after independence till 2013 when we celebrated 50 years of Israeli Kenya formal diplomatic relationship from a socio-economic perspective.
