Israeli Yangu Essay 2020.
In October 2020, we initiated a project to stir up the young people towards understanding Israel by requesting them to write an essay dubbed, 'Israeli Yangu'.
We are living in a time when the world is becoming a global family and what happens in one nation will affect other nations significantly in a really short time and mostly in real – time, we are also living in a time when there is an influx of knowledge and fake news/propaganda.
Israel is at the forefront as a victim of fake news and global propaganda, this could worsen in the coming times, as the Body of Messiah we are called to love, stand and align with the nation of Israel.
A further disturbing fact is that we have a generation arising that does not fully understand Israel and why Israel.
This generation is a primary consumer of all the propaganda and as the church we have the honourable role to feed the flock with the divine truth about who Israel is, what God commands us to do regarding Israel and how to pray, stand and align with Israel.
We have spearheaded this initiative to stir up the minds of this generation to seek God’s truth regarding Israel and in the process commit to stand with God’s nation in praying, standing and aligning with Israel.
We did this in partnership with Hope Media and The Israeli Embassy in Nairobi. The campaign was launched in October 2020 with an overwhleming repsponse of over 100 enquiries and 70 essay submissions for ages 9 to 21 years.
There was a respresentation from 17 ocunties which was very encouraging seeing that we only publised the campaign for 10 days.
